This site is dedicated to the memory of Brendan & Maresa Metcalfe.
Following a tough 10 months, my father Brendan Metcalfe, died in his sleep on the 15th April 2015. Brendan born 1st October 1930 in Douglas, Isle of Man. His faith and love for our mother kept dad alive despite his heart problems. My parents enjoyed 60 years of happy marriage. their enduring love and devotion to each other should be an inspiration to us all.
He is now with our mother, Maresa, and we have decided to dedicate this site to them both.
Once again we request that, instead of flowers, donations to be made to the MND Association, which can be done through the "Donate" link.
Maresa Metcalfe was born in Isle Of Man on October 29, 1933. following several moves, enjoyed a long retirement in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Maresa sadly left us on June 18th 2014, having fought with Motor Neurone Disease since the end of July 2013.

Thoughts
Maresa, my first cousin was a remarkable person;kind,generous,loving and utterly selfless.She and I used to spend part of our school holidays together, with my parents on the mainland and other wonderful, happy times in Foxdale. We have been close and firm friends always. I will miss her.

To my mum , I miss you already mum, part of me is now with you mum,and one day I will see you again , you are now with god and I know you are not in pain any more mum , you are an angel mum and by gods side , we are also with dad and always will be . I will always be in contact with you mum through my prayers ,
