Welcome to Maresa's Tribute Fund. Set up by us, her children, after our mother, sadly lost her battle with MND on, 18th June 2014. Maresa leaves behind her devoted husband, Brendan, of 60 loving years. Also us, her 6 children, 10 wonderful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. We know that our mother, Maresa, touched all those she met, creating many memories for us all, throughout her life. An inspiration to many, reaching into our hearts through her words & actions. Her profound faith helped her though, not only since she was diagnosed with MND, but throughout her whole life. She was thrown many tests, but, neither of our parents faith wavered. We will all remember her for many different things, not least her unconditional love, caring attitude, thinking of others before herself and creating a happy, safe, secure and welcoming home. We have created this page to help raise money for the MNDA, and so that Family & friends can share their thoughts and feelings in the guestbook in celebration of a long & fruitful life lived. To help raise money for the MNDA, in recognition of their invaluable support in helping her though the difficult trails brought on by this cruel disease, which ended her life. We her family look forward to all your insights, thoughts, memories and pictures, which we hope you will share. We have an immediate request that instead of flowers in her memory at her funeral service. Please consider making a contribution online. All monies raised on these pages will be earmarked as being donations made via this Tribute Fund, when they reach the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We hope to continue this support for the MNDA, in her memory, so that, in a small way, one day such suffering may cease. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her family & friends.
